3. PURPOSE OF THE DATA TRANSFER:

The data will be transferred to:- ensure the continuation of the established Healthtech trade fair by the new organizer,- maintain existing communication channels with past participants, exhibitors, and partners,- enable organizational and commercial continuity in line with stakeholders' expectations.‍

4. LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING:

The legal basis for the transfer of your personal data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).Both Startup Events GmbH andhealth.tech events GmbH have a legitimate interest in:- transferring intangible business assets as part of the founding of a joint venture,- facilitating the transition of the organizer’s role,- ensuring continued communication and business relationships with the event community,- preventing disruption and maintaining trust among stakeholders. This interest is not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, as:- the data was originally collected in the context of existing business relationships,- the intended future use remains within the scope of your reasonable expectations,- the data recipient is located in Switzerland, a country recognized by the EUCommission as providing an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR),- you have an effective right to object to the processing at any time (Art. 21GDPR).‍

6. THIRD COUNTRY TRANSFER AND SAFEGUARDS:

The recipient is based in Switzerland, which is recognized by the European Commission as offering adequate data protection pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. Therefore, no additional safeguards are required.‍

7. RETENTION PERIOD:

Your data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or where legal retention obligations apply. After that, it will be erased or anonymized.‍

8. YOUR RIGHTS:
