Terms & Conditions – Health Tech Events 

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all ticket purchases and attendance at events organized by health.tech events GmbH (“Organizer”). By purchasing or using a ticket (“Ticket”), you agree to these Terms.  

Purchases are binding once payment is confirmed. 

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include taxes unless otherwise stated. 

Service and processing fees are non-refundable.  

Tickets may be transferred or re-personalized by contacting the Organizer before the event; fees may apply. 

Entry requires a valid, correctly personalized Ticket and valid identification if requested.  

All sales are final. No cancellations, exchanges, or refunds are possible unless the event is postponed, or cancelled. 

In such cases, the refund is limited to the Ticket price paid (excluding fees). Travel, accommodation, or other expenses are not refunded.  

The Organizer may deny entry or remove individuals for misconduct or safety reasons without refund.  

The Organizer is not liable for lost/stolen Tickets, personal injury, illness, property damage, or other losses, except in cases of gross negligence or intent.  

Personal data is processed in line with the GDPR and Swiss law.

The data will be transferred to:- ensure the continuation of the established Healthtech trade fair by the new organizer,- maintain existing communication channels with past participants, exhibitors, and partners,- enable organizational and commercial continuity in line with stakeholders' expectations.‍

The legal basis for the transfer of your personal data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).Both Startup Events GmbH andhealth.tech events GmbH have a legitimate interest in:- transferring intangible business assets as part of the founding of a joint venture,- facilitating the transition of the organizer’s role,- ensuring continued communication and business relationships with the event community,- preventing disruption and maintaining trust among stakeholders. This interest is not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, as:- the data was originally collected in the context of existing business relationships,- the intended future use remains within the scope of your reasonable expectations,- the data recipient is located in Switzerland, a country recognized by the EUCommission as providing an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR),- you have an effective right to object to the processing at any time (Art. 21GDPR).‍

The recipient is based in Switzerland, which is recognized by the European Commission as offering adequate data protection pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. Therefore, no additional safeguards are required.‍

Your data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or where legal retention obligations apply. After that, it will be erased or anonymized.‍

You have the following rights under the GDPR:- Right of access (Art. 15)- Right to rectification (Art. 16)- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) (Art. 17)- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)- Right to object (Art. 21)- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority‍

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you object, your data will no longer be processed unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
